Raffles Country Club is a proprietary Club (registered as
a Society) owned by RCC Holding Pte. Ltd. which is a wholly
owned subsidiary of Singapore Leisure Industries Pte. Ltd.
The ultimate holding company is the Jurong Town Corporation
(JTC). The Club is on a 146 Ha of JTC land leased to the Club
for 30 years.
The Club commenced operation on 1 July 1988 and has about
2600 members presently. Membership is transferable. There
are two 18-hole golf courses, the Lake Course and the Palm
Course with twifdwarf turf for the greens and bermuda / zoysia
for the tees and fairways. |

| The use of golf
buggy provided by the Club is mandatory. The clubhouse occupies
some 10,000 sq. meters and provides various amenities / facilities.
There are 345 parking lots. |
Selling
points:
The two courses offer a panoramic view
of Tengeh Reservoir. Colourful birds and other wildlife,
including monitor lizards, teem in and around the course.
Other facilities include gymnasium, swimming pools,
billiards, sauna rooms and squash courts. |
